Lamppost Update

The lamppost campaign is in full swing. J'Accuse is currently 'registering' all adherents on the blogosphere. All the lampposts may now be seen on flickr. If you have not done so yet, add a lamppost to your site and notify me by leaving a comment here. The next steps will be announced in the coming days. For work reasons this post is short and to sweet. Like its author.

PS: Ralph Cassar of AD informs me via Mark that what I referred to as a 'demonstration' against racism in Valletta by 15 NGO's was not meant to be a mass rally but a symbolic protest. My bad. That teaches me to verify my sources before blabbing. Incidentally the post entitled "It's the Commission, Stupid" where I took the MLP to task for accusing the government of favouritism in matters unrelated might also have been the victim of hopeless reporting. I read elsewhere that in the same press conference Labour accused the NSO of farming out a contract to Informa (later denied by government). This might have been the real source of the accusations. If it was ... my bad. Nul points to di-ve.com encore une fois!

Guyus. As I said in the post, all the lampposts are being posted on the flickr website as they are added. The full address is http://www.flickr.com/photos/bollettino/sets/72157594159393763/

I will post a full list of the blogs adhering in the next few days. Then we can all work on the manifesto. This does not preclude anyone writing on the subjct of tolerance or on anything related to tolerance and the Maltese islands. Remember that this is a pro-active campaign.

Hi, ZHN support this campaign & said so on the website (since ZHN's main aim is basically fighting social injustice)

For your info and if i left out anything important/acknowledgements you'd like me to include. We could also help out in the future with any action taken (if possible resource wise), since you said that NGO's might be involved sometime.

I've added a lamp post but I'm not sure what the link is (forgive my ignorance in PC's or anything related to them)
