It is not just the right that rears its ugly head every so often. The left too has its job to do and in its eternal need to justify its rebellious cause it needs to define its enemy and those it needs to overthrow. The "I am a martyr" complex is common to both sides. The enemy is needed to define oneself. I find that it does this all too eagerly and at times slips into the conspiracy theory complex that has been the bane for the socialists in Malta for too long.

Will the left ever learn? Methinks not. Meanwhile I will go on asking... what did he mean by this blog? I thought he was writing about other people until I read the part about the blog from which one feels superior. The vague suspicion of being categorised and classified irritated me. So I had to answer... because even if I was not intended to form part of the class, the mere suspicion triggered by the post made me notice that the post itself was deeply worrying and irritating.

I find such a blog as sad and threatening as our friends here.

What better example of misery than the post itself?

You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatreds.
You cannot blog about an elite without being one yourself.
